Power Consumption, Cooling & Performance
Global Blockchain Mining has developed mining pod structures consisting of 10 mining systems per modular pod. Pods are designed to effectively utilize the available floor space, while consolidating the pod for ventilation, cooling, power supply and network connections. Each pod is specific to an algorithm and tokens associated the specific ASIC script. The pod structure allows Global Blockchain Mining the ability to measure the performance, temperature and power consumption of each supercomputer with the pod, and regulate the power, temperature and performance across the pod. This real-time information delivers reliable performance indicators to assist management in the measurement of performance objectives.
Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEAs)
FMEA, also known as FMEA, stands for Failure Mode Effects Analysis and is used by Global Blockchain Mining to identify potential failures in data center designs during the planning and development process. During the failure analysis Global Blockchain Mining measures the potential failures associated with power consumption, heat and cooling, networking, clocking, and over-clocking, power delivery and pod planning, where it is used to identify risks and develop implementation for countermeasures to prevent failures from occurring.
DCOI Compliance
The United States government created the Data Center Optimization Initiative (DCOI) mandate to address the inefficiencies of its federal agencies’ data center infrastructure. To comply with the DCOI, agencies are required to have 100% of data center infrastructure located in data centers that have power metering, have a PUE of less than or equal to 1.5 (or 1.4 for new data centers), have at least a 4:1 ratio of operating systems that are fully virtualized, utilize servers at least 65% of the time, and have at least 80% of the total floor area actively utilized for racks containing at least one physical server.
